Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 09, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service carefully prior to utilizing or integrating Wassel with your e-commerce operations or software platforms. Accessing or using our infrastructure constitutes your legally binding agreement to comply with these terms and all applicable Meta platform policies.
1. Service Description & Scope
Wassel provides enterprise API routing infrastructure and developer tools that interface business systems, e-commerce storefronts, and CRMs directly with Meta's official WhatsApp Business Cloud API. We supply the high-performance transmission gateway and integration middleware; the actual underlying message transport and delivery are operated by Meta Platforms Inc.
2. Acceptable Use & Anti-Spam Policy
All users and integrating merchants must strictly adhere to the WhatsApp Business Policy and WhatsApp Commerce Policy. Prohibited activities include, without limitation:
- Transmitting unsolicited promotional messages (Spam) or messaging recipients who have not provided explicit, verifiable prior opt-in consent.
- Broadcasting unauthorized message templates or bypassing Meta's automated template verification systems.
- Engaging in deceptive, fraudulent, or abusive practices, or promoting goods and services prohibited by Meta policies.
3. Meta API Terms Compliance
Merchants are required to maintain an active, fully verified WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) in good standing. You acknowledge and accept full responsibility for Meta's official conversation pricing fees and compliance with Meta's messaging tier throughput quotas and phone number quality ratings.
4. Limitation of Liability & Availability Disclaimers
While we strive to deliver 99.9% uptime on our gateway routing nodes, our services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis subject to standard SaaS liability terms:
- Upstream Outages: Wassel is not liable for messaging delays, failures, or service disruptions caused by Meta Graph API outages, network congestion, or telecommunications carrier filters.
- Quota & Throughput Restrictions: Messaging volumes are bounded by Meta-enforced tier limits and rate throttling; Wassel does not guarantee delivery beyond established quotas.
- Consequential Damages: In no event shall Wassel be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business revenue, profits, or data.
